What it does
The system checks each bottle as it passes the station, using a dedicated laser sensor to verify that the twist-off cap has achieved a correct pressure or vacuum seal. The check happens immediately after capping, so bottles with imperfect sealing can be removed before they move into downstream handling, labeling or packing.
In the line
The compact unit sits after the capping machine and keeps the operator interface close at hand through a color touchscreen. Format changeover is handled through a motorized inspection head, reducing manual adjustment when the line changes container or closure formats.
Controls and safeguards
- Pressure or vacuum inspection for twist-off cap sealing.
- Specific laser sensor positioned at bottle passage.
- Motorized inspection head for easier format changeover.
- Optical and acoustic alarms for nonconforming containers.
- Configurable limit for consecutive rejects.
- Stop signal for other production-line machines when the reject threshold is exceeded.
